Run in Barns
Run in Barns are a great way to provide shelter for free-range animals. They have quaker style roof lines allowing the front wall to be a foot taller than the back wall, creating a higher opening. They are wood-sided, and finished in Duratemp, LP Smart Side, or pine board and batten. They include 4ft tall oak kick boards with 1/2″ plywood above to cover walls for bucking and cribbing protection. These floorless structures are built on an interlocked 6×6 pressure-treated frame with painted steel corner brackets for strength and transportation. These structures can be a single open stall, multiple open stalls, or multiple open stalls with closed stalls or tack rooms.
